ARCONS PISTOL MODEL 1763/1766 FOR THE CAVALRY AND THE DRAGONS
Pistol from the National Manufacture of ST ETIENNE. Pistol built new, in fact an order in 1773 for 4000 pairs was placed with the St Etienne Manufacture.
Lock perfectly marked and stamped with the crowned IR of the controller.
Round barrel, hallmarked 76 and the hallmarks of the controller, marking on the barrel tail of the year 1776 well marked.
Original wood and in good condition, which is rare on these models.
Marking on the wood of the same year present and visible as well as an AK13 marking.
Marking of the company also present but attenuated unidentified.
Perfectly functional mechanism including the tension of the springs.
Original ramrod present but broken two-thirds.
Total length: 40.8 cm Inside diameter of the muzzle: 18mn Outside diameter: 21.1mn
