Elegant office chair with a cane base covered in a thick leather square. The naturalistic decoration of the backrest, carved in imitation of interlinked rushes, harmonizes perfectly with the neoclassical sculptures of the base, composed of rosettes and arcatures. Very well preserved. France, circa 1780.
