Arranged as a wall decoration, this beautiful table rug with a celestial blue background is decorated with a rich seedling of butterflies, flowers, foliage and vases. Entirely made of silk, background, embroidery and fringes. Exceptional state of conservation for a table rug that has retained its borders and fringes. Central fold due to vertical hanging. Some light aurèoles. China circa 1860-1880. Two little pinholes. Lined on the back of a satinette. Dimensions: 225 X 180 cm. Plus 16 cm of fringes on each side.
