Magnificent portrait of a woman signed and dated 1927. Student of Léon L'Hermite and Jean Paul Laurens, this artist achieved great fame during his lifetime thanks to his large compositions for the Sarah Bernard theater in Paris, La mairie and the Beziers theater as well as several carriages of the legendary Orient Express. A luminist painter close to Henri Martin, Guiraud gives us here a beautiful portrait of a woman of character. Oil on canvas in perfect condition (never cleaned or restored) is presented in its original frame.
