Louis XIV XVIIth Century Carved Linden Mirror
Louis XIV period 17th century carved limewood mirror, gilded and polychrome. The mirror has a lively shape and is richly carved with openwork foliage, polychrome flowers and chimeras on the sides. The upper part is delicately carved with an eagle surmounted by two cherubs holding a crown in the center. Mirror previously replaced. Original gold leaf gilding and polychromy in good condition. Venetian work from the 17th century.
