This solid mahogany bookcase opens with two glass doors with mitered frames on the front. In the lower part, each door is darkened by a panel over approximately one third of its height. Both doors are equipped with brass entrances with original functional lock accompanied by its key. The interior is lined with four solid shelves adjustable in height on racks. This bookcase is topped by a projecting cornice with ogee and rests on a plinth which ends with slightly hollowed feet. ********* Period: 1st part of the 19th century Excellent condition.
