Art Nouveau Gilt Bronze Photo Frame With Heart-shaped And Pearl Decoration

Splendid photo frame under glass in gilded bronze very finely chiseled with a frieze of hearts decorated with pearls. The back of the frame unscrews (original screw) allowing the installation of the photo. It is hung on the wall by means of its suspension ring. It can be installed on a piece of furniture thanks to its large crutch. The frame is of very beautiful craftsmanship, in gilded bronze and not in brass, like many photo frames of this period and yet announced as bronze. You will particularly admire the richness of the decoration in important relief. I replaced the photo of the young child which was there with an old sheet of hand-marbled paper for binding. Lovely with its multitude of mixed colors! Period end of the 19th century - beginning of the 20th century.
