Pair Of Art Deco Modernist Wall Lights In Sandblasted Glass And Chrome-plated Metal Petitot

A delightful pair of modernist wall sconces with fins and a semi-circle of clear, sandblasted and polished glass, in the style of H. Petitot's designs. The ringed, high-relief chrome-plated metal frame is particularly striking. The fins and glass semi-circle are held to the frame by small chrome-plated balls. They diffuse a soft and relaxing light (last photo). Bayonet sockets. Dimensions: Height: 25 cm Width: 35 cm Depth: 17 cm. Good condition. Left in their original condition with slight signs of age and use – consistent with their age and use – one socket retaining tab has been re-soldered (see photo). An elegant and beautiful set.
