Aki No Miyajima Autumn Moon, Ukiyo-e Triptych, Watanabe Nobukazu (1872 - 1944)

An ukiyo-e triptych depicting a woman and child with a deer. Looking from the left, one of the women is holding a traditional Japanese biwa lute, another is trying to feed the deer, a third is holding a child eagerly reaching out to the animal, and a fourth is squatting and holding a fan. In the background, we can see a large ishi-toro lantern, a tori gate, buildings in the distance, and a full moon.
