Flower Dish, Arita - Imari, Japan, Edo Period, Circa 1700.
Beautiful porcelain dish with hand-painted decoration. It represents a vase with flowers in the center and an arabesque with flowers around it. The flowers represented are chrysanthemums, peonies or plum trees in bloom. The tray has a brass ferrule that allows it to be hung on the wall.
