In the center a crown of flowers, friezes with pretty frames presenting scenes with characters and animals enhanced with motifs representing a bird in places lightly painted with gold in light relief. Japanese work from the province of Kaga Kutani during the Meiji period (1868 - 1912), intended in particular for the European market on the occasion of the major universal exhibitions.
