Christian Sanséau is a self-taught French painter born in 1952 in Brittany (Pontivy). He made numerous trips to Asia and Africa where he discovered colors and shapes that influenced his artistic style. Sanséau began exhibiting his work in 1986 and quickly gained a reputation as a talented artist. His paintings mainly represent Brittany, its rocky coasts, ports and green landscapes.
