- Louis XVI period sofa in carved and water green lacquered beech. The work has seven legs, four front and three back (one of which was modified later), turned, tapered, fluted. The trapezoidal belt has a front with convex ends and crosspieces with flat moldings forming a framing net. The front dice with hollow bottom are carved with an elegant rosette, on two faces for the corner dice while the back dice with hollow bottom are bare on the lateral and back face. The armrest supports are straight turned baluster with finely carved twisted moldings on a three-fluted support, the straight armrests running with the backrest are trimmed with cuff, fluted heads decorated with a finely carved rosette on the upper face (echoing those of the dice). The rectangular backrest has an upper crosspiece with a molded frame. - The seat of this bench consists of a seat with a movable cushion, a thick backrest
- Stamped "G. JACOB". Wood attributed to Georges (I) Jacob (1735-1814), carpenter-cabinetmaker, received master in Paris in 1765 and active alone until 1796.
- Good state of conservation of the wood and the upholstery. The rear foot has been modified.
