Preparations for the hunt for love, oil on canvas, dimensions 62.5 cm x 52.5 cm, with its period carved wooden frame: 82 cm x 72 cm, entourage of Nicolas Poussin. Guy and Christiane de Aldecoa Collection. Exhibited in 1986 in Charenton-le-Pont, French Painters of the 17th century, No. 2. Given to Poussin in the art notebooks No. 9 of 2011, pages 33 and 34, under the title "Preparations for the hunt and Loves on the hunt", represented in figure 1, as Nicolas Poussin. Related work: The painting by Nicolas Poussin, entered at the Hermitage, Saint Petersburg, in 1772, acquired from the Crozat collection, exhibited under the title of Cupid leaves for the hunting, dimensions 68 cm x 52 cm, identical subject.
