Regency Period Woodwork Chest Of Drawers, 18th Century

Rare and small chest of drawers in blond oak paneling, from the 18th century Regency period.

The drawers are large with great storage space. They are designed with a hinge and mounted with dovetails.
The uprights are curved with a beautiful re-entrant movement that is found on the top and which lightens the piece of furniture.
The top therefore follows this particular profile and has a Bec de Corbin as molding.
The sides are mounted with flat bands with a protruding panel.
It rests on a plinth following the general movement which is original.
The backs are also original. Entirely pegged, it has a beautiful patina of waxed light blond oak close to a waxed walnut.
The bronzed ones were probably changed in the 19th century.
