Venetian Lacquered And Gilded Salon Set, Late 18th Century

Refined Venetian salon set dating from the late 18th century, composed of a sofa, two armchairs, two chairs and an elegant coffee table with a green marble top. The wooden structure is fully lacquered and finely gilded with gold leaf, featuring carved details of floral motifs and ribbon patterns typical of the neoclassical taste.
The seats, partially upholstered and covered in light blue and gold damask fabric, maintain a decorative harmony true to the period. The upholstery is in good overall condition, with minor wear on the armrests and a few age-related stains.
The oval table features a precious inset green Alps marble top, shaped and supported by fluted and turned legs with gilt elements. The overall condition of the set is good: the structure is solid, with typical signs of age including wear to the lacquer and small chips, especially on the legs.
