"Pierre Raymon Enamel Joan Of Arc Victory"
After Pierre Raymond, mid-16th century. Polychrome enamel painted on copper, with gold highlights; in a rectangular wooden frame, depicting Joan of Arc wearing the crown of Victory (ref: Tableaux des Echevins Orléans 1581). Counter-enameling in purplish fondant. Monogrammed PR at the bottom left (slight erasure of the R.). He signed his work from 1537 to 1578. Frame: 20cm high and 16cm wide. Domed enamel plaque measuring 11cm x 15cm.
