"Wrought Iron Grill, Late 19th - Early 20th Century"
Wrought iron grill late 18th - Early 19th century. Used to cook meat in the hearth on the embers or as a pan rest. Support circle assembled by mechanical welding (allows late dating) to the arc and by a rivet to fix the latter on the tripod support. The handle is decorated with a simple widening and ends with a suspension ring. The grill is rotating on its axis. The bars are straight with interspersed volutes. Very good condition. Very decorative and functional object. Length 66cm, diameter 31cm, height 12cm
