The decoration is framed by a rectangular cartouche highlighted with a wide gold border. The upper part is enriched with a sinuous gold frieze in stylized festoons, punctuated with small gold dots. The handle, the base and the upper rim are also enhanced with a fine gold border. The matching saucer is decorated, in its center, with a rectangular medallion with a white background depicting a wild bird with outstretched wings, perched on a branch, in a landscape setting. The rim is decorated with a wavy gold frieze, and a gold border underlines the edge.
