"Zataku Square Table By Saburo Inui For Tendo Mokko Japan"
The Zataku coffee table, designed by Saburo Inui in 1959 for Tendo Mokko, is an iconic piece of Japanese design. As technical director, Saburo Inui successfully combined traditional craftsmanship with modern innovations, making Tendo Mokko a leader in bentwood furniture. Crafted from laminated timber and keyaki veneer, this coffee table stands out with its curved, organic design. The thick, meticulously crafted tabletop is enhanced by a subtle interplay of wood grain, while the gently curved legs extend the fluidity of the form, creating a piece that is both elegant and functional. The soft lines and refined finish of this table make it a harmonious addition to any contemporary interior. The vintage Tendo Mokko logo is affixed to the underside of the tabletop.
