Beautiful work, in soft colors, by the Nice painter Maurice La Bany which represents a lively view of the district of La Ponche, the fishing district in Saint-Tropez.
Originally from Nice, Maurice La Bany was a student of Léon Bonnat at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
He mainly painted landscapes of the Côte d'Azur including Nice and Saint-Tropez.
Artist-painter, Maurice La Bany is also a tenor.
Dimensions: 64.5 x 54 cm without frame and 84 x 73.5 cm with its original wooden frame.
