Guy Désert (1923–2004) was a self-taught French painter from Normandy. A former fisherman, he drew much of his inspiration from the Breton coastline and seascapes. He worked regularly in Lesconil (Pays Bigouden) between 1960 and 1990. His work is characterised by an expressive style focused on light and atmosphere.
