A solid silver Marabout teapot with a stringed decoration. The finial is in the shape of a seed. The handle is made of blackened wood. Hallmarked with the French Minerva 1st standard. Silversmiths Smets & Fournier, active between 1882 and 1892. Manufactured by Maison Fontan in Bordeaux. Height: 13 cm – Width: 16 cm – Base diameter: 8 cm. Gross weight: 300 g
