Silver Basket, Hanau Circa 1900 Germany
Basket in embossed, chased and pierced silver, with a flat base, oval in shape with a ruffled edge. The slightly domed body has a Rocaille style decoration. On the main faces are two blind medallions surrounded by acanthus volutes. The basket has two handles in the shape of leafy stems.
