"Silver Basket, Hanau Circa 1900 Germany "
Basket in embossed, chased and pierced silver, with a flat base, oval in shape with a ruffled edge. The slightly domed body has a Rocaille style decoration. On the main faces are two blind medallions surrounded by acanthus volutes. The basket has two handles in the shape of leafy stems. Work from Hanau (Germany), circa 1900. 800/1000 silver Goldsmith's hallmark: Georg Roth & Co. Dimensions: Length: 12.5 cm Width: 10.5 cm Height: 6.5 cm Weight: 150 g Very good condition.
