Important Gilded Wood Wall Console, Louis XV Style - Early 20th Century
This gilded wooden console table, topped with a thick Flanders marble with a corbin beak, has a moving belt, decorated with foliage, acanthus leaves, volutes and a large shell. These elements rest on two curved legs, each of which is carved with acanthus leaf decorations in the shape of volutes and also with foliage ending in small rolled feet. This base is joined by a crosspiece with a central sculpture.
