"Mahogany Sideboard, Empire Style – 2nd Part Of The 19th Century"
This mahogany and burl mahogany veneer sideboard features a simple and refined design, typical of the Empire style. It opens along the belt with two drawers fitted with functional locks and attractive bronze keys. The fillet entry adds a small decorative touch. Just below, two recessed doors trimmed with a burl mahogany veneer arranged in an open book, open with a chiseled key, revealing a shelf and a large storage space. The uprights are dressed with detached columns, with bronze capitals and collars, resting on ball feet. The cabinet is topped with Belgian granite marble with crystalline limestone accompanied by shells and fossils. The interior of the drawers and the structure are made of solid oak offering robustness and authenticity. A beautifully crafted piece of furniture, both decorative and functional, a testament to the craftsmanship of its time.********Period: Late 19th centuryExcellent condition after restoration in our cabinetmaking workshop.Gum Lacquer finishDelivery in France and internationally.Dimensions:Width: 131 cmDepth: 52 cmHeight: 96 cmReference: 295V
