Inside, it currently holds three shelves, but its depth makes it easy to convert into a wardrobe. It stands on gracefully curved “doe feet,” typical of the Louis XV style. The back is made entirely of solid wood, and the structure is assembled with traditional mortise and tenon joinery—an enduring hallmark of quality craftsmanship.
