"18th Century Table Lectern"
Walnut table lectern, decorated with a shell on the bar which allows the book to be positioned. The 4 legs required great dexterity in the turning work. The walnut has acquired a superb polish. Good general condition for a work from the beginning of the 18th century. To be complete, we note some traces of xylophages on a base and on the ball, a volute is missing on the bar of the shell and a stain on the varnish. Provincial work from the very beginning of the 18th century.
