"Landscape By Henri Brugnot"
Landscape representing a village perched on top of a hill and located at the foot of a river. The village may be located near Uzès where the painter settled for the last years of his life. It is a pastel on paper of a large format: 94 cm X 42 cm, the painter used two sheets for the composition. Well-constructed pastel in warm colors signed H. BRUGNOT and dated 36Henri Brugnot 1874-1940 was a student of Gustave Moreau and received an honorable mention at the Salon des Artistes in 1901. The pastel is elegantly displayed in a gilded wooden frame with wide edges. Total dimensions: 108 cm X 56 cmDelivery at the buyer's expense
