Henri Deluermoz Kitchen Table

Still life depicting a farm table with a pitcher and knife on the left and various vegetables on the right, from the series of still lifes by Paul Cézanne. It is an oil painting on cardboard and signed lower right. It is in its original frame, in the absence of which, it measures 42x58 cm. Henri Deluermoz (1876-1943) studied painting at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, in the studios of Gustave Moreau and Alfred Roll. Renowned for his depictions of animals, he illustrated numerous books and exhibited regularly at the Salons des Artistes Français and in Parisian galleries between the two wars.
