suji bachi Kabuto 62 blades signed inside neo masanobu The iron bowl is topped with a gilded copper tehen and shakudo the mabizashi equipped with a twisted shakudo fukurin, the bowl mounted with a shikoro with five black lacquered blades tied in sugake, the fukigaeshi with stenciled leather and a family crest in gilded metal, representing a wisteria wisteria, kamon used by the Naito family (fudai daimyo) all laced with blue white and orange,.the leather is used in two points on the sides signed inside Neo Masanobu saku wakidate in the shape of golden deer horns Neo Masanobu is considered the founder of the famous Neo school of armor. He revolutionized the construction of the Kabuto by creating the famous suji kabuto of 120 blades. Masanobu worked in Nara, Kyoto and Owari around 1700.
