Our Supe club is carved in the shape of an elegant elongated diamond. Two raised ridges run along each side of the weapon's surface. A knob-shaped pommel stops the guard.
This type of club, in the Malaita region, is used during combat to finish off the enemy. It also protects the warrior's face like a shield. Solomon Islands, Malaita Province.
Late 19th-early 20th century. Very well preserved.
