Toggle, Amulet - China 19th Century
The Chinese Toggle, often worn on the belt in the manner of the Japanese Netsuke, made it possible to suspend and preserve the small objects of daily life. Our bronze figurine, representing a standing figure, shows a beautiful patina of handling characteristic of these protective amulets.
