Elegant Regency Period Bookcase In Rio Rosewood

A harmonious Regency period bookcase of remarkable proportions. It opens with two tall glass doors, each composed of four panes of glass. A Parisian work from the Regency period, this bookcase has retained all of its backs, its ceiling light, its fretwork base, and its original lag screws. From its design, the talented cabinetmakers had planned for it to be completely disassemblable and transportable. The uprights, the base, and the cornice are adorned with gilded brass fluting. This bookcase is in beautiful condition and includes five natural wood shelves. Original locks, key, and espagnolette. Ornamentation in chiseled and gilded bronze. Restorations due to use and maintenance. A certificate-invoice will be issued upon delivery.
