Rare Small 17th Century Painted Tibetan Chest With Naga Handle

A rare small antique Tibetan painted wooden chest with incredible patina and intricate panels of floral scenes. Reds, greens and yellows.
The polychromy is worn, but it is in its original condition. With wrought iron locks and a magnificent Naga head handle.
This small chest opens twice: the lid reveals the red painted interior. Once the lid is closed, it opens from the middle (side bands).
