"Belle époque Spring Pansies Brooch, Enamel, Diamonds And Gold, 1910"
This lovely sentimental brooch in 14 carat gold represents two pansies with lovely volumes, naturally enameled, the center of each is set with a brilliant-cut diamond. The undulating stems are linked with a gold twist. Both the enamel and the gold have a satin finish.
A beautiful example of the language of loving flowers: "my thoughts are yours!"
Unhallmarked gold, tested 14 carats with a touchstone.
Note: old retouching to the enamel of the purple petal of the pansy on the left.

Early 20th century, Belle Époque circa 1910.
