Superb mirror with glazing beads retaining its original gilding as well as all of its backgrounds. The mercury mirrors are decorated with a molding known as Bérain and foliate motifs. Very beautiful ornamentation in finely carved and gilded wood, decorated with scallop shells, pig tails and scrolls embellished with foliage and flowers.
