Pair of Napoleon III period overmantel mirrors, 19th century, Louis XVI style. Lacquered woodwork, original off-white patina. Gold leaf gilded wood decorations. The pediments are richly decorated with Louis XVI ribbons, garlands and rose falls. In the center of each, a central medallion painted on canvas glued to cardboard, representing a cherub.
