Carved and gilded wooden niche, Rococo, 18th century.
Niche formed by a base decorated with a molding and a support for a sculpture decorated with a mask and plant motifs and surmounted by a split pediment whose lower part is worked with a central motif evoking a fabric. Engraved horns of plenty and leaves appear on the entire back. The work would have been part of an altarpiece or could have been created because it was kept for a private chapel. -
