Pair Of 19th Century Lithographed Sheet Metal Bottle Holders
Made of stamped sheet metal forming a corolla of petals on the edges creating a lovely decorative effect. In their centers, romantic images of houses and castles and all the architectural aspects that are required where appropriate: watchtowers, imposts, half-timbering, galleries, columns, ogives, battlements... These multi-purpose trays are highlighted by golden fillets and bear inscriptions of places in Gothic letters that I cannot read, probably cities in Bohemia, Germany or Austro-Hungary. 19th century period.
