Terracotta with a brown patina, by Alexandre BRONGNIART, son of the 18th century French architect Alexandre Théodore BRONGNIART, to whom we owe the Père-Lachaise cemetery. Alexandre BRONGNIART became director of the Sèvres factory from 1800 to 1847. Bears the inscription Alexandre Brongniart on the back as well as the mark of the Sèvres factory. Bust resting on a pedestal
