Haute-epoque Courtesy Box
Rare Haute-Epoque so-called "courtesy" box. Rectangular in shape, the domed lid, it is on a wooden core covered with black embossed leather. The corners are protected by wrought iron fittings, hinges and lock entry (the key is missing) also in wrought and chiseled iron. The interior has retained its dominoté paper (wear). In good condition. France or Flanders. Early 17th century.
