Conillon Tarry Levigne Folding Knife
Rare Cornillon folding knife by Tarry Levigne. Forged steel blade in a yatagan shape, reinforced on the back towards the tip. On the ricassot, marquais, Tarry Levigne and the lizard tail turned downwards. Palm springs with release ring. Beautiful horn handle carved on both sides with lines and arabesques and studded towards the tip and near the ricassot. Very firm spring and without the slightest play. One can wonder if this knife, with its very special handles, came out as is from the Tarry Levigne workshops and put in the catalog or if it is a special order for an originality never or perhaps very rarely seen. Mid-20th century. Excellent condition. Total length open 33.4 cm blade length 15.4 cm handle length, 18.4 cm.
