Pair of solid walnut bergeres Empire period early 19th century. Slightly curved backrests decorated with a gilded bronze diamond decorated with a mask of Hermes in the center. Rounded armrests resting on armrest consoles decorated with gilded bronze palmettes. They rest on four sabre feet. The bergeres are covered with orange-red silk with crosspieces (one in good condition, the other slightly sunned and some stains). Shaft and upholstery in very good condition, gilding of the bronzes cleaned by our workshop. Work from the Empire period early 19th century.
