Beautiful traditional polychrome decoration on the edge: Fo dog, porcelain, flowers, sinograms. Chinese Bakul Siah wedding baskets are traditionally used by the Chinese of the Peranakan ethnic group. These baskets were used to carry gifts during the twelve-day wedding as well as during the engagement (Guo Da Li).
