19th Century Fleur De Lys Embroidered Table Mat
Table mat from the Napoleon III period, embroidered in polychrome cross stitch of blue, red, yellow, pink, black, decorated with stylized red fleur-de-lis in the spandrels. Interpreted flowers, rosettes, foliage, friezes make up the decorative repertoire of the piece. The linen support is braided with polychrome fringes typical of the taste of the time. The lining is made of brown cotton. Original and period assembly. Very good condition, no lack, an almost imperceptible repair on the linen, three very discreet small stains, to be noted which do not detract from the harmony of the whole Dimensions without fringes: 128 cm by 113 cm Dimensions including fringes: 155 cm by 144 cm
