Cabinet And Its Base In Marquetry And Ivory, Holland, 17th Century
We present a remarkable "Cabinet dit de curiosités" in marquetry and ivory. The woods used are rosewood and ebony. It opens with two doors on the front. The interior of the cabinet consists of ten drawers and a central door, opening onto six small drawers. It is marquetry on all its faces. It rests on a posterior base with twisted columns finished with ball feet. Two bronze handles are located on the sides of the chest. Cabinet of curiosities of Dutch origin dating from the 17th century. In very good condition. Dimensions: h.133 cm x l.77.5 cm x p.42.5 cm.
