Fabulous large Verge Pocket watch with Tortoisehell and silver case.
XVIII th century, around 1770/80.
The watch is equipped with a Verge escapement with full plate gilt movement, pierced and engraved cock, silver regulator disc, fusee and chain.
Signed Ludwig Kotting in Burg (Magdeburg).
Watch recently overhauled, Works.
Arabic numerals dial signed "Ludwig Kottting in Burg".
Mineral glass. Original blue steel hands.
Equipped with an old key for charging and setting.
The watch is composed of two cases.
Large tortoiseshell case ( 6cm) with silver profiles, with the classic signs of time.
Silver case containing the movement.
Small internal cards certifying old revisions.
Diameter 60 mm.
