This superb frame joins the representation of Anacreon in an advertising medal for a cola also on this site. Superb 18th century stylus engraving by Nicolas de Launay (1739-17992) after a painting by PA Baudoin, painter to the King. When Nicolas died, his prints were marketed by his brother: R de Launay, 112 rue Jacques, near the French Pantheon in Paris. Fine quality engraving with its magnificent mat).
