Cuirassier helmet, troop model 1874. Steel bomb. Marmouzet, crest, grenade headband, plume holder, rosette rush and brass scale chinstraps, lined with black leather for the chinstraps. Marmouzet puff in red horsehair, black horsehair mane with a good length. Visor and neck piece lined with leather. Inner cap in changed brown morocco. Scarlet cock feather plume, brass olive. France, late 19th century, in service until the First World War.
Condition: ABE, with traces of use and usage, visible in the photos. Headpiece worn. Size 57/58 cm.
